The June 19th 1918 issue of The Commercial-News
announced that Judge & Mrs. Walter Lamon of Paris,
arrived Thursday to make Danville their home.
Judge Lamon had recently accepted the position
of treasurer at the local branch of the National
Soldiers Home. The couple will reside at the
treasures headquarters at the national home.
