Death of Mrs. WIlliam E. Fithian
A dispatch was received yesterday afternoon
by her parents announcing the sudden death
of Mrs. William E. Fithian at her home in
San Antonio, Texas. Knowing of her
serious illiness, her mother, Mrs. Eccles,
started on the 11:30 train for that place.
A post mortem examination revealed
that death resulted from inflammation of
the bowels.
Sallie S., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Eccles, was born March 17, 1866, in Indianapolis,
and at the age of 13 came to this city with her
parents, where she resided until her marriage
with Mr. Fithian on last New Years.
Mr. Fithian is expected to arrive in this city
with the body Friday afternoon or Saturday

Arrival of the Remains of Mrs. Wm. E. Fithian
The remains of Mrs. Wm. E. Fithian arrived here
from San Antonio, Texas, this afternoon at 1:30
o'clock and were taken to the residence of Judge
David D. Evans, corner of Oak and Seminary
streets. The funeral will occur tommorow
morning at 10 o'clock.
